“The Back” is an intimate performance project: a minimalistic and intimate dialogue between one member of the audience and the back of the performer. This performance has the ambition to explore and redefine the concept of mediation, encounters, availability and authenticity in the significance of performance art. My desire is to create a prioritization of sensual worlds of immediacy, proximity and sensuality by developing a performance project aiming to encourage corporeal memory and embodied knowledge through a visceral, intimate and sensorial one to one performance experience. www.facciocose.org
